OWLI works with partners to build the capacity for creating learning environments that foster the development of critical thinkers who will become the ethical moral leaders of our new world.  OWLI provides the opportunity for participants to engage in productive dialogue. All activities related to OWLI are founded on the premise that potential leaders must understand the power of their own voices in order to represent and serve the grass roots needs of their communities. The core ingredient in this work is to build healthy, honest, transparent relationships.  All participants  will realize the important role they play in molding a world where all people appreciate their similarities and differences rather than being alienated by them. OWLI encourages sharing and mutual learning by its members and embraces the diversity of community leadership development efforts.
